After dishing out collaborations with the likes of Our Legacy and Martine Rose earlier this year, Stüssy’s train of co-designed collections is only continuing to chug along, full steam ahead. On Thursday, Shawn Stüssy’s label unveiled its next teamed drop with Grammy-winning, Jamaican-born reggaeton artist Sean Paul, featuring dual-branded apparel.

Celebrating the musical polymath’s 30-year career, the two-piece capsule centers a photograph of Paul wearing a punkish, spiked leather jacket and thick sunglasses on T-shirts, in black and white colorways. In the foreground of the powerful image, the T-shirts read “Stüssy International Tribe,” referencing the streetwear label’s collective of like-minded creatives, alongside Paul’s name.

Stüssy continues to be a leader in collaboration, having achieved a sense of omnipresence in fashion thanks to the breadth of its industry-spanning partners. Between finer partnerships with Dries Van Noten and Tekla, more street-leaning capsules with Cactus Plant Flea Market, Timberland and Denim Tears, and a steady flow of Converse and Nike crossovers, the brand has proven its versatility in the space and the culture that surrounds it. With Sean Paul, Stüssy only furthers this sentiment, working in tandem with one of reggae’s most celebrated artists.

Stüssy’s Sean Paul collaboration will launch in North America, the UK, Europe, Japan, Korea and all other regions on Friday, July 21 at 10 a.m in select chapter stores, at Dover Street Market locations and on Stüssy’s webstore. Take a look at the range in the gallery above.
